Katina is the primary designer and is supported by a team of assistants for set-up and transport. She insists on personally dealing with each customer one-on-one throughout the entire planning process, customizing each design specifically for each event, including being on-hand for final touch-ups.

Our Business History

Katina started this business in 2003 and she has blossomed as a designer, studying under European trained designers in Sacramento. Her creativity, passion, professionalism and natural ability to create unique and beautiful floral designs has earned her an excellent reputation in the industry. Not only does she have a loyal following of past clients and referrals, her business now comes highly recommended by some of the top event coordinators and vendors in the Tahoe/ Reno area.  Due to her love of travel, she keeps her finger on the pulse of the design industry, bringing fresh designs from the larger trendsetting cities around the US and Europe. She strives to bring the same fresh, innovative designs and styles to Reno/Tahoe that are being used by top designers in San Francisco, New York and Europe. She has a knack for combining visually interesting elements in her designs that makes her work unique, creative and fun.

What Makes Us Unique

We are an event floral designer only, not a florist. We only book one event at a time so our attention is only on your event and not on walk in business and 3 other events the same day.  We incorporate unique design elements such as imported vases, wire and beading, jewel accents and fruit to make our designs one of a kind.  We include a complimentary toss bouquet for all full wedding orders and provide complimentary pinning of most corsages and boutonnieres. We will meet with you on site for a consultation at no additional charge.  We now have the addition of an air-conditioned mobile work trailer with which we can transport and work on-site for larger events.  We have an extensive collection of rental containers, wrought iron arbor and bamboo chuppah as well for your convenience.  Sierra Floral Designs will go the extra mile for you to ensure your event is perfect.
